Dan “Animal” Javorsek
Chief Strategy Officer
Dan “Animal” Javorsek is the Chief Strategy Officer at Scientific Systems. With over 30 years of experience in technologies applied to national defense, his primary focus is serving as a catalyst to accelerate Scientific Systems’ transition into a scalable autonomy product company.
Javorsek had a distinguished 24-year career in the USAF and currently serves as a member of the DoD Science & Tech Innovation Board. Most recently, he was the President and CTO of EpiSci (Applied Intuition), where he led strategic initiatives in defense technology innovation.
He holds a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Physics from Purdue University, along with a M.S. in Flight Test Engineering from the USAF Test Pilot School, a M.S. in Science and Technology Intelligence from the National Intelligence University, and a M.S. in Airpower Strategy and Technology Integration from Air University.
