SSCI is looking to fill a Senior Research Engineer position in the Autonomy Systems Group for projects relating to autonomy and unmanned systems. This position requires U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for DoD Security Clearance.

Job Title Research Engineer / Systems Engineer (Job code SSCI 1892)
Level MSc with 1-3 years experience, or BSc with 3-5 years experience in Computer Science, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering, with a focus in unmanned, robotic or autonomy systems development.
Location Full-time opportunities are currently available for Woburn, MA.
Duties Systems and software engineering, implementation, testing and support for advanced technology development in unmanned air, surface and undersea systems, mission planning, and command/control systems. The successful applicant will contribute to the development, integration and field testing of autonomy and unmanned systems.
Required Skills/Experience 2~4 years experience in advanced research and development of unmanned systems.

3+ years experience using Matlab/Simulink for system analysis and design.

4+ years experience C/C++ for systems development and software engineering.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Desirable Skills/Experience Experience in real-time and autonomy systems development, software engineering for mission planning, command and control (incl. user interfaces), vehicle management systems, or other unmanned vehicle systems.

Experience with systems and software engineering processes (software planning, design, development tools, configuration management, test and QA methods).
