Research Engineer / Systems Engineer / Application Engineer (job code SSCI-1151)

| Duties: | Systems and software engineering, implementation, testing and support for advanced technology development in intelligent systems, mission planning, and guidance, navigation and controls (GNC) systems. The successful applicants will contribute to the development, integration and field testing of autonomous and unmanned systems. |
| Required Experience: | 3~5 years experience in advanced research and development of intelligent systems. 3+ years experience using Matlab/Simulink for system analysis and design. 5+ years experience C/C++ for systems development and software engineering. Excellent written and oral communication skills. |
| Desirable Experience: | Experience in real-time software engineering for mission planning, flight controls, avionics, or unmanned vehicles. Experience with systems and software engineering processes (software planning, design, development tools, configuration management, test and QA methods). |

Job Description
This is a part-time position which can be full-time depending upon experience of the applicant in other areas besides government contracting.
The Chief Contracting Officer is expected to have an excellent grasp of government contracting with a solid depth of understanding of FAR, DCAA practices, all relevant contract types (e.g. CPFF/FFP/T&M, BPA, IDIQ, etc.) and related items in his/her knowledge base. The Chief Contracting Officer will have deep experience working across multiple DoD services and agencies. The Chief Contractor Officer will be a key member of the senior team with significant input into the strategic and operational plans to meet the Company’s growth targets and strategic goals.
Requirements
Have a minimum of 10+ years’ experience working in a combination of high level government contracting and/or consulting environments; Have deep experience in all facets of government contracts including prime and subcontracts; FFP, FPIF, T&M, IDIQ, CPAF, etc; Be experienced in Cost Proposal preparation and DCAA audit experience; Have strong written and oral communication and briefing skills; Be an active participant in NCMA; NCMA certification a plus; Possess strong client origination and management skills and be driven to provide the highest quality of work and client service; Effective project management skills, accounting knowledge, as well as analytical and conceptual ability is a plus; Have ability to obtain a secret clearance.
