Super-resolution

Super-resolution, also known as High Definition Imaging, is the process of increasing the effective bandwidth of an image by introducing synthetic collateral data to the dataset. Using collateral data to augment the original time series, we effectively overcome the Rayleigh resolution imposed by the size of the original dataset. The following example is based on real data from Norden Airfield.

Figure 1 depicts a sample 12 ft resolution SAR input to the Super-resolution algorithm.

Figure 2 illustrates the 3 ft resolution output obtained from the Super-resolution  algorithm.

Figure 3 is the 3 ft resolution ground truth image.
